A girl, Sally who is 5 years old moves in with her mum after living with her dad in a different town for months. When she returns she realises that all the trees in Whoville have disappeared and she sets out on a quest to find all the trees and stop whoever took them.

Sally had been away for months, living with her dad in a different town. When she returned to Whoville with her mum, the first thing she noticed was the empty skyline. 'Where have all the trees gone?' she wondered aloud. Her mum didn't have an answer, but Sally was determined to find out.

The Return to Whoville

Sally started asking around. She learned that the trees began disappearing one by one, and no one knew why but eventually they were all gone.'I'll find them,' Sally declared. Her adventure had just begun.

The Mystery of the Missing Trees

Sally set off on her adventure. She searched high and low. She looked behind buildings and under bridges. Hours had passed. And then she found a magical path leading to a enchanting valley. 'Could this be where the trees are?' she thought. Slowly, she walked along the path entering the valley, ‘Hello?’ 

The Quest

Beyond the path, Sally found a beautiful valley filled with all of Whoville's missing trees. She discovered that they had been stolen by a hippy who worshiped the trees. Sally spoke to the woman asking her to return the trees. ‘Please return the trees to Whoville, we need them as much as you do’ she begged. ‘...But my precious trees...’ cried the woman. Sally and the woman came to an agreement that the lady could keep one but the rest must be returned.’
Sally returned home with all the trees of Whoville and was congratulated by all.
