Tinashe First Day In Grade 1

Tinashe couldn't sleep the night before his first day of grade 1. He was feeling nervous and excited at the same time. He lay in bed, thinking about all the new friends he would make and the fun things he would learn. Tinashe's mom came in and sat with him, calming his nerves and telling him how proud she was of him.

The Night Before

The next morning, Tinashe got ready for his first day of school. As he walked into the classroom, he saw all the other kids and felt a little scared again. Mrs. Schives, his teacher, greeted him with a warm smile and showed him to his seat. Tinashe's classmate, Peilla, waved at him, and he felt a little better.

The First Day

During recess, Tinashe and Peilla played together and soon became good friends. They laughed and had fun on the swings and slides. Tinashe realized that school wasn't so scary after all, especially with a friend like Peilla by his side. Mrs. Schives was happy to see the children getting along so well.

At the end of the day, Tinashe told his mom all about his exciting first day in grade 1. He was no longer scared and couldn't wait to go back to school the next day. Mrs. Schives gave him a sticker for being brave, and Tinashe felt proud of himself. He went to bed that night with a big smile, looking forward to more fun and learning at school.
