Once upon a time, there was a boy named Xavier who loved to grow tomatoes in his backyard. He would spend hours tending to his tomato plants, watering them and making sure they were healthy..

The Discovery

Xavier sets a trap in his garden for the squirrel, using a cardboard box, a stick to hold it up, and a string to pull the stick.

Xavier became frustrated and decided he needed to catch the squirrel to keep it from eating any more of his precious tomatoes. So, he set up a trap using a cardboard box propped up with a stick and a piece of string as a trigger.

A Plan to Help

The next day, when Xavier went to check on his trap, he found that the squirrel had been caught. The little creature was scared and tried to escape, but the box was too strong.

At first, Xavier felt proud of himself for catching the squirrel, but as he looked into the little creature's frightened eyes, he began to feel guilty. He realized that the squirrel was just trying to find food to survive, and he had no right to take away its freedom.

A Garden for Bees
