A little girl named Luna loves to explore the earth, she loves to be on the beach, in the forest, she's seen the grand canyon, shes gone to safaris in Africa. One day she is telling her grandma how much she love the earth and her grandma tells her she has had beautiful experiences, but has she ever thanked the earth. Luna doesn't understand and goes on to figure out why and how she should thank the earth. SHe thinks to herself, the earth is not a person, the ocean has no feelings, and the tree can't cry. Her grandma goes on to tell her she is wrong. The Earth is a beautiful place, but it also hurts when it's mistreated. As people continue to heart the earth by causing climate change the beaches she loves may be ruined, the animals in the safari may disappear, and the earth she loves may feel sadness. Luna wants to help, her grandma tells her she must thank the earth for everything it does for us, and encourgae others to do the same. You can take a second and just say thank you earth, but you can also pick up trash you see on the street, use less water, walk to places instead of driving. Small things matter, and one day when luna is all grown up she can team up with people who also take time to thank the earth, and continue to tell others to do the same., 

Thank You Earth

Luna skipped along the beach, her long black hair dancing in the wind. She loved feeling the warm sand between her toes and hearing the ocean waves crash. "Grandma Sol, I've seen so many beautiful places on Earth!" Luna exclaimed, counting on her tiny fingers. "The forest, the Grand Canyon, and even animals in Africa!"

Luna's Adventures

One sunny afternoon, Luna sat with Grandma Sol in their garden. "I love Earth so much," Luna said, her eyes bright with excitement. Grandma Sol smiled gently and asked, "But have you ever thanked the Earth?" Luna's forehead wrinkled in confusion. "How can I thank Earth?" she wondered. "It's not a person."

"The Earth feels everything we do," Grandma Sol explained, touching a flower softly. "When people hurt it with pollution, the beaches you love might disappear." Luna's eyes widened with worry. "The animals from the safari might have nowhere to live," Grandma continued. "Earth gives us everything, and we must give thanks back."

Earth Has Feelings Too

"I want to help!" Luna declared, standing tall despite her small size. Grandma taught her to pick up litter, save water, and walk instead of asking for car rides. "Thank you, Earth," Luna whispered that night, looking at the stars. She promised to grow up protecting the Earth and teaching others to say thanks too.
