Grandma and Grandpa take Rye on a drive through the mountains in their Jeep. They drove through the valleys and over mountains, they saw moose and elk, and squirrels and birds. Grandma and Grandpa pointed out all of the animals and mountain peaks. Rye had so much fun driving around and looking out the window.

Rye’s Jeep Drive

Grandpa and Grandma had a plan, to take Rye out in their big red van. The sun was bright, the sky so blue, a perfect day for a ride, it's true. Rye clapped her hands with glee, excited for what she would see.

A Sunny Day Begins

The Jeep rolled on, up the hill, past the trees and the old mill. Grandma pointed to a peak so high, 'Look, Rye, it touches the sky!' Rye giggled and wiggled in her seat, the mountain air smelled so sweet.

Into the Mountains

Suddenly, they saw a moose, standing proud and feeling loose. Grandpa whispered, 'Look at those antlers wide!' Rye's eyes opened so very wide. The moose nodded as they drove by, under the bright and sunny sky.

Down the valley, they did go, where the grass and flowers grow. There stood elk, grazing slow, Grandma whispered, 'Say hello!' Rye waved her tiny hand, feeling like she was in a magical land.

The Jeep turned around a bend, where squirrels and birds seemed to blend. 'Look at them hop and fly!' said Grandpa with a joyful sigh. Rye laughed at the playful sight, her heart filled with pure delight.

Grandma packed a picnic treat, sandwiches, fruit, and something sweet. They stopped by a bubbling brook, where Rye gave everything a curious look. They ate and laughed in the sun's warm ray, enjoying every moment of the day.

The sun began to set low, casting a gentle evening glow. Grandpa turned the Jeep around, heading back to their little town. Rye yawned a sleepy sigh, as stars twinkled in the sky.

Back at home, in her bed so snug, Rye cuddled her favorite teddy bug. She dreamed of mountains, moose, and more, of all the wonders she did explore. With Grandma and Grandpa by her side, Rye drifted off on a dreamy ride.
