Maddox is 2; a little wild child growing up on a farm with large trees,long grass, noisy guinea fowl, Egyptian geese, rabbits, tortoises, owls. There's vintage cars and old fire trucks in the enormous backyard. Maddox goes on adventures with his best friend, Aslan the Great Dane! Aslan is so large all you ever see of him are his four long, grey legs. Aslan is the mentor; cautious, guiding, teaching Maddox as he rushes fearlessly into crazy and dangerous situations. Maddox is learning to talk. He barks at everyone, yelling, pointing "woo-woo" instead of talking. Everything is called a woo-woo. Aslan teaches him the names of things like mama, dada, car, truck. Each time he points at something and calls it woo-woo, Aslan corrects him and gives the proper name, explaining who or what they are. Mama cries when he finally calls her mama! Dada smiles, he is so proud. In the end Maddox points to Aslan saying Woo-Woo and Aslan agrees, Yes, I am Aslan, the biggest woo-woo that ever was.

Once upon a time, in a farm surrounded by big trees and long grass, there lived a little boy named Maddox. Maddox was two years old, and he loved going on adventures with his best friend, Aslan the Great Dane.

Chapter 1: Maddox and Aslan

Aslan was a very special dog. He was so large that you could only see his four long, grey legs and sometimes his muzzle that reached the very top of the page. Maddox thought Aslan was the biggest doggie he had ever seen!

Maddox was learning to talk, but instead of using words, he would bark at everyone and everything, pointing and saying 'woo-woo'. He called everything 'woo-woo' because he didn't know the proper names for things yet.

Chapter 3: The Woo-Woo Talk

Aslan saw how eager Maddox was to learn, so he became his mentor. Whenever Maddox pointed at something and called it 'woo-woo', Aslan would correct him and teach him the right name. Mama, dada, car, truck, Aslan patiently explained them all.

One day, Maddox pointed at his mother and called her 'woo-woo'. Aslan gently nudged him and whispered, 'No, Maddox, that's your mama.' Mama's eyes filled with tears of joy as Maddox finally called her 'mama'. Dada smiled proudly too.

Maddox and Aslan continued their adventures on the farm. Aslan always kept a watchful eye on Maddox, guiding him away from danger and teaching him important lessons about the world around them. Maddox was growing smarter and braver with every passing day.
