Introduction

Genesis: The First Book of the Bible

In the very beginning, there was nothing but darkness. Then, God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. God saw that the light was good and separated it from the darkness, calling the light 'day' and the darkness 'night.' This was the first day of creation. God continued to create the sky, land, and seas, filling the world with life.

The Beginning of Everything

God created a beautiful garden called Eden. In this garden, He placed the first man, Adam, and later, the first woman, Eve. They were free to enjoy everything in the garden except for the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. God warned them that eating from this tree would bring sadness and trouble. Adam and Eve lived happily, naming animals and taking care of the garden.

One day, a clever serpent tricked Eve into eating the forbidden fruit. Eve then gave some to Adam, and they both ate it. Suddenly, they realized they had made a mistake and felt ashamed. God found out and was very sad because they disobeyed Him. As a result, Adam and Eve had to leave the beautiful garden and face the challenges of the outside world.

A Difficult Choice

Even though Adam and Eve made a mistake, God still loved them. He promised to help them and their children find their way back to Him. Adam and Eve learned to work hard and take care of each other. They taught their children about God's love and the importance of making good choices. And so, the story of humanity began, filled with lessons and hope for the future.
