davie has a cavity and has to go to the dentist.  He's very scared, but the dentist makes him feel comfortable and fixes his sore tooth.  The dentist shows him how to brush his teeth properly.  Davie is happy that he went to the dentist.

Davie woke up one morning with a sore tooth. He tried to eat his breakfast, but every bite made him wince in pain. Davie told his mom about his toothache, and she said it was time to visit the dentist. Davie had never been to the dentist before and felt very scared.

The Toothache

When Davie and his mom arrived at the dentist's office, Davie clung to his mom's hand. The dentist greeted Davie with a big smile and introduced himself. He showed Davie all the tools he would use and explained what each one did. Davie's fear began to melt away.

The Visit to the Dentist
